Announcement bar settings and layout options

The settings in your Announcement Bar customisation panel allow you to adjust the appearance and behaviour of the announcement bar in Shopify’s Bingo Theme. Here’s a breakdown of each setting:

1. Make Section Full Width

• Toggle OFF (default): The announcement bar will be contained within the store’s layout width.

• Toggle ON: The bar spans across the full width of the screen.

1. Announcement Background Color

   Hex Code (#C55626 in your case)

   • Defines the background color of the announcement bar.

   • Click the color picker to change it.

2. Text Color

   • Sets the text color of the announcement message.

   • Should contrast well with the background color for readability.

3. Social Media Icons

   • Show icons on desktop (toggle ON/OFF)

   • Displays linked social media icons inside the announcement bar (set up via Theme Settings → Social Media).

4. Announcements (Rotating Messages)

   • Auto-Rotate Announcements (toggle ON) – Cycles through multiple messages.

   • Size Selection (Small, Medium, Large) – Controls the text size.

   • Change Every X Seconds – Adjusts how fast the messages rotate.

   • Small, medium, large

6. Change every

   • Slides seconds

7. Language Selector

   • Enable Language Selector (toggle ON)

   • If your store supports multiple languages, this enables a dropdown to switch languages.

Text size controls how large the text is within the announcement bar.
