Why We Use the Cart Page in Shopify
Review Products Before Purchase: The cart page lets customers see all the items they’ve added — including product names, images, quantities, and prices — before they proceed to checkout.
Edit or Update Items: Customers can easily change quantities, remove products, or update variants (like size or color) directly from the cart page.
Display Subtotal & Discounts: It shows the subtotal, taxes, and discounts (if applicable), giving a clear idea of the total cost before payment.
Apply Coupon Codes or Notes: Many themes allow customers to add order notes (like “gift wrap this item”) or enter discount codes directly from the cart page.
